Young Women’s Fellowship

Young Women’s Fellowship is a discipleship and mentoring group for High School girls wanting to establish a solid foundation in the Christian faith. Throughout the year, we have teaching series that focus on what we believe as Christians and why we believe, how to walk with God on a daily basis, and discovering our spiritual gifts to further His kingdom.  We desire to take the truths of Scripture to encourage and equip the girls to walk as young women who know they are loved, uniquely created and greatly valued.   We meet on most Sundays after service.  Email This email address is being protected from spambots. Plugged In Online
Plugged In is a Focus on the Family publication designed to help equip parents, youth leaders, ministers and teens with the essential tools that will enable them to understand, navigate and impact the culture in which they live. Entertainment is a potent influence on our culture for both good and evil. Through our reviews and discussions of that entertainment, they hope to spark intellectual thought, family discussion and spiritual growth.

Covenant Eyes
Covenant Eyes monitors Internet use and reports to your accountability partners (at no charge to them). Objectionable sites score high and are presented in an easy-to-read report, either by email or at their member center. Parents can also use this tool to monitor their children's use of the Internet. Men, women, churches and businesses can use it to provide discipline and training in responsible use of the Internet.

Center for Parent/Youth Understanding
The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding is a nonprofit organization committed to building strong families by serving to bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers. At a time when an already confusing youth culture is changing quickly, CPYU helps parents, youth workers, educators, and others understand teenagers and their culture so that they will be better equipped to help children and teens navigate the challenging world of adolescence.

Focus on the Family is the official site of Focus on the Family, the organization founded by Dr. James Dobson, which is dedicated to helping to preserve traditional values and the institution of the family. It contains a wealth of resources in such areas as family ministry, college student ministry, community impact, business, government and public policy, and various other topics.

Heart Connex Family E-Devotionals
These devotionals, offered by LifeWay Christian Resources, provide the opportunity for parents to sign up to receive weekly devotionals via their e-mail. Participants receive two 20-minute devotions each week which contain solid Bible teaching, discussion questions that emphasis family involvement, and pray guidance at the conclusion. These are offered free of charge.

Core Beliefs

Aftershock Ministries: Who We Are, What We Believe, and How It Applies to You:

1) Aftershock Student Ministries is a group of committed believers, who desire to see change in the world. We understand change begins on a local level, in our communities: at school, and at home. It is our hope that through our words and actions, people will come to know the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ in their own lives.

2) We believe that Christ has the power to change lives. It is our understanding that God speaks to the Church most often through God’s holy, and inspired Word, and through other believers. Moreover, it is our understanding that God desires believers to be in consistent communion, with not only God, but other Christians.

3) Finally, it would honor us if you were to stop by for a visit! We meet every Friday night at Crossroads Community Church (25991 Pala Drive Mission Viejo, California, 92691). Our phone number is (949) 707-0800. Join us and come see what God wants to do in your life, and the difference you can make.
